Listed below is a synopsis of the more <br /> important comments/actions: <br /> • There will be two sessions on September 30. A morning session <br /> will be held at the University Presbyterian Church on Franklin <br /> Street in downtown Chapel Hill - consisting of two sub- <br /> sessions (one of which will be a panel discussion from 8:30 <br /> until 12 :30. The evening session (Assembly of Governments) <br /> will be held at the Chapel Hill Town Hall Council Chamber from <br /> 7 :30-10 : 00 . <br /> • The panel discussion will be held in the "PBS" format, with <br /> 10-12 panelists. Each panelist will have a specific area of <br /> expertise and can expect to have specific questions about <br /> his/her are of expertise put directly to them. other questions <br /> will be open to the entire panel for general discussion. Dr. <br /> DeGrove will serve as the moderator of the panel, and Dr. <br /> David Godschalk will also be involved. Joyce Brown, Margaret <br /> Brown and Livy Ludington presented a possible list of <br /> panelists. The following names were suggested for the panel: <br /> Elected officials: Verla Insko, Shirley Marshall, Jacqueline <br /> Gist, Joe Hackney. <br /> Citizen activists: Allen Spalt. <br /> UNC: David Godschalk, an assistant vice chancellor (TBA) . <br /> Local gov't staff: John Link, Cal Horton. <br /> Business community: Joel Harper (CoC) , Jim Heavner (Village <br /> Companies) , Sally Jessee (PPP/Marin Properties) , Bob Epting <br /> (attorney) , Bev Webb (attorney) . <br /> Banking: Eddie Mann, Margie Schoeffner, Mark Royster. <br /> Farming: Bob Strayhorn (Larry Rogers) . <br /> - f <br /> - t <br />
