The statute further states that the <br /> governing body shall promptly initiate any action <br /> necessary to bring jail facilities into conformity to <br /> standards. The attached letter from Lindy <br /> Pendergrass, Orange County Sheriff, to Robert G. <br /> Lewis indicates that the conditions cited in the <br /> report are now in compliance with standards. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board of Commissioners <br /> receive the report. Corrective action has been taken <br /> as required. <br /> II <br />
