DocuSign Envelope ID: DCA5DA42-63ED-423C-B54F-BA5787EE2991 <br /> The following is a breakdown of the daily schedule the day of the clinic: <br /> 8:30am Students load buses at home school <br /> 9:00am Students arrive at host school, rehearsal begins <br /> 10:30am Snack/bathroom break <br /> 12:00 Lunch (students will bring a bag lunch) <br /> 12:45pm Rehearsal <br /> 2:00pm Students load buses <br /> 2:30pm Students arrive back at home school and go home as usual <br /> 6:00pm Students and parents arrive at Pathways Elementary <br /> 6:30pm Performance for families and community at Pathways <br /> Elementary <br /> This event addresses many of the Essentials Standards for Music, including: <br /> • 4.ML.1.1-Apply expressive qualities when singing or playing a varied <br /> repertoire of music representing genres and styles from diverse cultures. <br /> • 5.MR.1.4- Exemplify appropriate behaviors as a participant and observer <br /> of music in relation to the context and style of music performed <br /> • CR.1.2- Understand how music has affected, and is reflected in, culture, <br /> traditions, and history. <br /> This event also challenges students to explore music performance at a higher <br /> level, pushing them to expand their knowledge and experience as musicians. <br /> The expectations for this group are set high, and students are encouraged to <br /> reach their full potential as individual performers and as part of the whole group. <br /> Pulling students from every elementary school creates a greater sense of <br /> community. Students realize that there are others outside of their own school <br /> who are striving to reach the same goals. Hosting an evening concert provides <br /> an opportunity to spotlight the arts within the Orange County Schools' district and <br /> promote that Orange County is the first choice for arts education. <br /> All elementary schools are located in Hillsborough, with the exception of New <br /> Hope Elementary located in Chapel Hill, and Efland-Cheeks Global Elementary <br /> located in Chapel Hill.
