Each elementary school sends
15-20 fourth and fifth grade students who demonstrate exceptional talent,
interest, and/or potential in the area of vocal music. With the assistance of their
music teacher, students practice 6-7 songs in preparation for the event. During
the clinic, a guest clinician/director runs a full-day rehearsal to fine tune and unify
the chorus of approximately 130 students, and the clinic concludes with a
performance for families and the community. This year, the clinic will be held on
Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Pathways Elementary under the direction of the
music teacher, Wayne Wilson.
