He petitioned the County to seek a higher distribution from the profits from their local <br /> ABC Board back to the County. <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said there is not a policy, and staff will bring back more information <br /> on this issue. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said a friend, Cynthia Brown, passed away recently from <br /> cancer. He said she had been a facilitator at retreats. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs said the Board recently discussed developing a policy to <br /> purchase from local vendors in Orange County, and when that is not possible, to purchase <br /> products made in the United States. He requested that a letter go out to all caterers stating <br /> that meals, which are served in plastic, or Styrofoam containers and plastic silverware will not <br /> be accepted. <br /> Commissioner Pelissier asked for a regular report on the information item in their <br /> packet, the Human Services Transportation Research and Orange Public Transit's Challenges <br /> and Solutions, and said going forward this should be tracked regularly. <br /> Chair McKee had no announcements or petitions. <br /> 4.
