7 <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> TO: Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> Carrboro Board of Aldermen <br /> Orange County Planning Board <br /> Carrboro Planning Board <br /> FROM: Carrboro Planning Staff <br /> Orange County Planning Staff <br /> DATE: April 6, 1993 <br /> SUBJECT: Lake Hogan Farm Rezoning Request <br /> REQUEST: <br /> An amendment to the Orange County Zoning Atlas has been requested <br /> which would incorporate a proposed change to the Town of Carrboro <br /> Zoning Map. The proposed change would rezone all or part of 7 <br /> parcels located in the Carrboro Joint Development Area as <br /> identified on the Orange County-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Joint Planning <br /> Land Use Plan. The total area is approximately 264 acres in size <br /> and is located on the east side of Old Rt. 86 (aka Old Chapel Hill- <br /> Hillsborough Highway) north of Homestead Road. Figure 1 (attached) <br /> depicts the properties proposed for rezoning. <br /> PETITIONERS: <br /> This rezoning has been requested by Dale E. Redfoot AIA and Bradley <br /> W. Young, agents for the property owners. <br /> DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA: <br /> The specific parcels to be rezoned are identified as: all of Lots <br /> 1, 2 , 3, 24 and the portion of Lot 4 west of Lake Hogan Farm Road <br /> on Tax Map 109 in Chapel Hill Township and the portion of lots 31 <br /> and 31F south of the Buckhorn Branch of Bolin Creek on Tax Map 23 <br /> in Chapel Hill Township. All properties or portions of properties <br /> specified are located within Transition Area I of the Carrboro <br /> Joint Development Review Area. <br /> 1 <br />
