42 <br /> Page Two <br /> Resolution No. 32/92-93 <br /> WHEREAS, both the current zoning of Carrboro R-R and the <br /> proposed zoning of Carrboro R-20 are consistent with the Suburban <br /> Residential Area designation in the Joint Planning Area Land Use <br /> Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Joint Public Hearing was held on April 15, 1993 to <br /> consider this rezoning. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF CARRBORO <br /> HEREBY RESOLVES THAT: <br /> Section 1. As shown on the accompanying map, all of Lots 1, <br /> 2 , and 24 except for that land lying within 100 feet of the <br /> southern property line on each lot; all of Lot 3 ; and the portion <br /> of Lot 4 west of Lake Hogan Farm Road on Tax Map 109 and the <br /> portion of lots 31 and 31F south of the Buckhorn Branch of Bolin <br /> Creek on Tax Map 23 be rezoned from Carrboro R-R (Rural <br /> Residential, 43 , 560 sf minimum lot size/1 unit per acre) to <br /> Carrboro R-20 (Residential, 20, 000 sf minimum lot size/2 . 1 units <br /> per acre) . All properties or portions of properties specified are <br /> located within Transition Area I of the Carrboro Joint Development <br /> Review Area. <br /> Section 2 . The Town Clerk shall send a copy of this <br /> resolution to the Orange County Manager. <br /> Section 3 .
