Both Boards must act in the affirmative <br /> before the rezoning can become effective. The <br /> Carrboro Board of Aldermen approved the rezoning <br /> request on May 25, 1993 (Resolution attached) . <br /> The Orange County Planning Board considered the <br /> proposed rezoning on June 21, 1993 and recommended <br /> approval. The vote was unanimous. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proposed <br /> rezoning. <br />
