Fikes <br /> Results of Bid Opening <br /> TELEPHONE NUMBER- <br /> Hillsborough - 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill - 968-4501 <br /> Mebane - 227-2031 <br /> Durham - 688-7331 <br /> PURPOSE: To award two housing rehabilitation contracts for the HOME <br /> Housing Rehabilitation Program. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Housing and Community Development Department solicited <br /> bids from qualified housing rehabilitation contractors <br /> participating in the County's Housing Rehabilitation <br /> Program. Sealed bids were received from four contractors on <br /> July 8, 1993 and opened on the same day. Bid results are <br /> attached. <br /> Present program procedures provide that housing <br /> rehabilitation contracts be awarded to the lowest <br /> responsible bidder. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> The Manager recommends awarding the following three housing <br /> rehabilitation contracts. <br /> Dwelling Unit Bid Amount Contractor <br /> # 2 $ 9,960 Taylor Home Imp. <br /> # 5 13,375 Taylor Home Imp. <br /> #12 15,455 J.W.
