[Note : The Final Project Report should be single- <br /> spaced and fully paginated . ] <br /> The Division retains all editorial , reproduction, publication , and <br /> distribution rights to the project report. Arrangements may be made , <br /> however, between the Division for waiver of these rights . Any <br /> subsequent use of the report, documentation or results of the project <br /> by Orange County and/or the University of North Carolina at Chapel <br /> Hill shall include appropriate recognition of the funding sources for <br /> the project. <br /> SECTION 8. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE DIVISION <br /> The Division shall provide the P. I . with all necessary computer- <br /> adapted North Carolina Archaeological Site Forms during the project, <br /> and shall make available any and all information currently available <br /> in its files which may be pertinent to the effective completion of the ' <br /> project. <br /> SECTION 9. CURATORIAL RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> Under the terms of this agreement, all materials, records, <br /> photographs, maps, and other documentation generated by this project <br /> remain the property of the State of North Carolina. Arrangements will <br /> be made between the Division , Orange County and the University of <br /> North Carolina at Chapel Hill for the curation of all or a portion of <br /> these items following completion of the project. <br /> SECTION 10. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRINCIPAL <br /> INVESTIGATOR <br /> It shall be the responsibility of the P. I . to obtain proper permission <br /> to conduct investigations and temporarily or permanently remove any <br /> artifacts or other materials from privately owned properties. The <br /> P. I . shall also be responsible for obtaining any permits required for <br /> conducting archaeological investigations on state or federally owned <br /> lands. <br /> SECTION 11 . AGREEMENT <br /> In consideration of the signing of this Contract for the performance <br /> of work and furnishing of labor and materials as set forth herein , the <br /> parties hereto for themselves, their agents, officials, and employees <br /> or servants agree not to discriminate in any manner on the basis of <br /> age, handicap , sex, race, color; creed , sexual orientation, or <br /> national origin with reference to the subject matter of this Contract, <br /> no matter how remote. This provision is hereby incorporated into this <br /> Contract for the benefit of the Grantee and may be enforced by action <br /> for specific performance, injunctive relief, or other remedy as by law <br /> provided . <br /> This project description and attachments are hereby agreed to on <br /> this day of , 1993 . <br />
