5 <br /> The report shall note any significant results or findings of the <br /> research , specific problems encountered during the work , <br /> recommendations or requests for any amendments to the terms of this <br /> description , and the projected schedule for project completion if <br /> different from that defined by this agreement. <br /> (2 ) Draft Final Report. The P. I . shall prepare and submit to the <br /> Division a complete draft report on or before July 1 , 1994. The <br /> report shall include but not be limited to the following : <br /> (a) Abstract: containing summary information on the objectives and <br /> results of the project. <br /> (b) Introduction: including but not limited to sponsorship of the <br /> project and funding sources (with specific reference to the U. S. <br /> Department of the Interior and the North Carolina Division of <br /> Archives and History; see also Appendix). <br /> (c) Background: including a discussion of the background research <br /> conducted on the archaeological and environmental context of the <br /> project. <br /> • <br /> (d) Survey Methods: including discussions of the sampling or other <br /> survey area selection criteria, the survey techniques, and other <br /> data collection techniques employed during the project. <br /> (e) Project Results: including discussions of the findings of the <br /> survey, artifactual analyses, and any locational analyses <br /> conducted during the project. Descriptions , drawings , photographs <br /> and tables of cultural materials and investigated sites should be <br /> included in these discussions. <br /> (f) Conclusions, evaluations, and recommendations: including site- <br /> specific evaluations of research and preliminary National Register <br /> of Historic Places significance and recommendations for future <br /> research and planning. <br /> (g) Tables, maps and figures: including lists of artifacts , <br /> photographs of artifacts and sites , and maps of surveyed areas <br /> ( using U . S .G. S. Quadrangle maps ) . <br /> ( h) North Carolina Archaeological Site Forms: All archaeological <br /> sites identified during the project shall be recorded on site <br /> forms furnished by the Division. For previously recorded sites, <br /> an update of old information shall be provided by the P. I . to the <br /> Division . <br /> [Note: All archaeological site references in the final report must <br /> employ official State Archaeological Site number designations. <br /> Specific site location information should not be included in the body <br /> of the report, but may be included as detachable appendices. ] <br /> (3) Final Report. Following submission of the draft final report by <br /> the P. I . , the Division shall have 30 days to review the report and <br /> communicate all necessary or recommended changes to the P. I . prior to <br /> preparation of the final project report. On or before September 30 , <br /> 1994, the P. I . shall submit three ( 3 ) copies of the final report to <br />
