2 <br /> The duties and responsibilities of the Economic <br /> Development Assistant position were compared to those <br /> of positions in other classes in the Classification <br /> Plan. The study (including the job factor analysis) <br /> indicates that the duties and responsibilities of the <br /> position are comparable to those of other positions at <br /> salary grade 69. Thus the recommendation is to assign <br /> the Economic Development Assistant class to salary <br /> grade 69. <br /> Upon approval of this recommended change, the Economic <br /> Development Assistant position at salary grade 66 will <br /> be reclassified and assigned to salary grade 69 . This <br /> position is the only position currently assigned to the <br /> Economic Development Assistant class. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends the Board amend the <br /> Classification Plan to change the salary grade for the <br /> class of Economic Development Assistant from Salary <br /> Grade 66 to salary grade 69. <br />
