DOA-736 (Revised 1/93) <br /> Community Service Provider, dated July 1, 1992. Community service <br /> providers specified in paragraph one (1) will report to the Area Agency, <br /> on a monthly basis, by service, the number of persons served and <br /> allowable expenditures to be charged to the Home and Community Care <br /> Block Grant. The amount of allowable expenditures reported will be <br /> reduced by the amount of program income received for the service funded <br /> by the Home and Community Care Block Grant for the month reported. <br /> The amount of reimbursement due to the provider is 90% of the <br /> remainder which represents the federal and state share of allowable block <br /> grant costs reported for the service minus program income collected for <br /> the month reported. Reimbursement will be net of the applicable month's <br /> interim payment. <br /> In the event that a service provider has exhausted the Home and <br /> Community Care Block Grant allocation for a given service and continues <br /> to collect program income from clients for services previously rendered <br /> with Home and Community Care Block Grant funds, the provider must <br /> continue to report program income collected and persons served as a result <br /> of program income collected after the Home and Community Care Block <br /> Grant allocation for the service has been exhausted. <br /> d) Mole of the County Finance Director <br /> The County Finance Director shall be responsible for disbursing Home <br /> and Community Care Block Grant Funding to Community Service <br /> Providers specified in paragraph one (1) in accordance with procedures <br /> specified in the N.C. Division of Aging Home and Community Care <br /> Block Grant Manual for Community.Service Providers, dated July 1, <br /> 1992. <br /> (e) P.yment of United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Subsidy <br /> USDA subsidy for congregate and home delivered meals will be disbursed <br /> by the Division of Aging through the Area Agency to the County on a <br /> monthly basis, subject to the availability of funds. USDA subsidy to the <br /> County shall be based upon the number of eligible meals served and <br /> reported by the County, multiplied by the per meal reimbursement rate set <br /> by USDA. Subject to the availability of funds, counties may be <br /> subsidized for meals reported in excess of the number of units (meals) <br /> specified on the Provider Services Summary format (DOA-732). To be <br /> counted as a meal within the meaning of this paragraph, the meal must <br /> meet criteria and be served to eligible persons, as specified in the N.C. <br /> Division of Aging Manual of Service Standards and Definitions, dated <br /> - 4 - <br />
