130
2
The new policy will also certify that said used mobile home
complies in full with the standards and rules prescribed by
the State of North Carolina Regulation for Mobile Homes.
This would mean that the certified electrician would inspect
the electrical system in the used mobile home and issue the label
of compliance. The certified plumber would inspect the plumbing
system and issue his label of compliance. All these certified
specialists would issue their labels of compliance.
The prospective owner of the mobile home would be obligated
to agree to the following before purchasing the used mobile home:
1. Authorize Caroline Mobile Home Park manager to
communicate with references (as well as any credit
reporting service) and request from and obtain
appropriate personal and credit information.
2. The prospective owner must submit to the management
of Caroline Mobile Home Park, a copy of a legal
paper to prove that the prospective buyer has
actually purchased the mobile home in question.
This must be done prior to signing rental application
and rules and regulations of Caroline Mobile Home
Park.
3. The prospective owner must agree to the rental
rates as specified on the rental application.
4. No For Sale sign can be posted on rented lots
without permission of the park manager.
We would also like to reemphasize the importance of certain
items which were part of our new General Policy issued on March 31,
1990, as follows:
1.. Effective July 1, 1990, all Mobile Homes will
be required to be underskirted. We would like
to inform the residents who have not underskirted
their mobile homes that they have had more than
ample time to implement the requirement of our
policy. We do intend to enforce this item in
our policy in the near future.
2. No unlicensed or junked motor vehicles of any
kind will be permitted. No boats will be permitted,
unless permission from the manager is obtained.
