To that end, these provisions are <br /> established to create review procedures and appropriate <br /> design standards for application within portions of the <br /> county targeted for economic development activities; <br /> e.g. , Economic Development Districts. <br /> 6.29.2 Design Review Process <br /> Before any new site development may be undertaken in an <br /> Economic Development District, a site plan must be <br /> approved and a zoning compliance permit issued in <br /> accordance with the provisions of Article 14 (Site Plan <br /> Approval Procedures) of this Ordinance. Prior to <br /> submission of an application for site plan approval, <br /> applicants will be required to meet with representatives <br /> of the Planning and Inspections, and Economic Development <br /> Departments to identify policies, procedures, <br /> regulations, and fees applicable to development <br /> proposals. <br />
