Four such <br /> nodes are designated in Hillsborough Township. <br /> REFERENCE : HB-1 (Coleman Loop) <br /> LOCATION: NC86 and Coleman Loop North (SR1334) <br /> PLAN CATEGORY: Rural Neighborhood <br /> This node is located at the intersection of an arterial , NC86 <br /> and Coleman Loop. It was created to take advantage of <br /> existing commercial activity. There are no major <br /> environmental constraints to small scale commercial <br /> development in the node, nor would such development disrupt <br /> the surrounding residential community. The scale of <br /> development is limited by the lack of public water and sewer . <br /> REFERENCE : HB-2 (Major Business Forms ) <br /> LOCATION: NC86 and Coleman Loop South (SR1332 ) <br /> PLAN CATEGORY: Rural Industrial <br /> This node, located at the intersection, of the arterial NC86 <br /> and Coleman Loop South, was created to take advantage of an <br /> existing industrial use at the intersection. There are no <br /> major environmental constraints at the site to hinder the <br /> development or expansion _ of small scale, rural industries . <br /> The scale of future development in the node will be limited <br /> by the lack of public water and sewer and the capacity of <br /> NC86 to handle additional traffic. <br /> REFERENCE: HB-3 (St. Mary's ) <br /> LOCATION: US70 Bypass and St. Mary' s Rd. ( SR1002 ) <br /> PLAN CATEGORY: Commercial Transition <br /> This node is located at the intersection of two arterial <br /> roads . Commercial uses presently exists in and near the node <br /> There are no major environmental constraints to development <br /> within the node to hinder medium density residential or <br /> additional commercial development. There are constraints , <br /> though, imposed by the arrangement of the roads and its <br /> access points which would require redesign to safely <br /> accommodate additional commercial development.
