I was very excited when I learn that <br /> there will be over 40 cultural activities and food booths,beginner dragon dance workshops,and <br /> Chinese performances. I'm also touched by the festival's intention to include everyone. The <br /> organizers chose to host the event at University Place so that everyone can take buses or cars,or <br /> walk to the festival. All activities are free. People can spend a few dollars to buy big paper <br /> lanterns. Food will be offered at low cost. This is a true community event for everyone in the <br /> community. <br /> I'm pleased with Chinese School's willingness and ability to outreach to the greater community <br /> through a fantastic festival full of cultural, arts, and educational elements. Residents in Chapel <br /> Hill and the surrounding areas will celebrate and benefit from community events like this.
