Members are listed below. <br />Municipalities: Counties: Others: <br />• Creedmoor Durham • Soil & Water Conservation (Districts in <br />• Durham Franklin the Upper Neuse Basin) <br />• Hillsborough • Granville • South Granville Water and Sewer <br />• Raleigh • Orange Authority <br />• Stem Person <br />• Wake Forest • Wake <br />• Butner <br />The LTl~IRBA is governed by a Board of Directors made up of one representative from each <br />member. A Technical Advisory Committee made up of members' staffs advises the Board and <br />UNRBA staff on watershed management needs and local practices. <br />Staff <br />The UNRBA employs one full-time Coordinator (Chris Dreps) and one Water Resources Planner <br />part-time (Sarah Bruce) through an agreement with Triangle J Council of Governments. L;INRBA <br />also contracts aKerr-Tar Council of Governments planner (Shelby Powell) to support efforts in <br />the Franklin, Granville, and Person County areas of the Basin. <br />Funding <br />tJNR]BA received $300,000 from the General Assembly in 1999 to create the Upper Neuse <br />Watershed Management Plan and establish the organization. Ongoing funding comes from <br />annual membership dues, which are calculated based on 1) member governments' public water <br />supply withdrawals from Upper Neuse surface waters and 2) their land area in the Upper Neuse <br />Basin.
