3 <br /> C. CP-3-93 Bobby Kirk, Sr. and Jr. <br /> The applicants are owners of property <br /> located at the intersection of Orange <br /> Grove Road and Bradshaw Quarry Road. They <br /> wish to have a Rural Neighborhood Activity <br /> Node designated at that intersection in <br /> the Land Use Element. The current <br /> designation is Agricultural-Residential. <br /> The proposal constitutes a principal <br /> amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Normally, such applications are only <br /> considered at the quarterly public hearing in <br /> February of each year. However, upon approval <br /> of the Board of Commissioners, such <br /> applications may be considered at another <br /> quarterly public hearing. The applicants are <br /> requesting that their proposal be considered <br /> at the May, 1993 hearing. <br /> 5. Zoning Atlas (Map) Amendments <br /> a. Z-1-93 Economic Development Districts <br /> If adopted, the proposed Atlas (Map) <br /> amendments would rezone three areas to the <br /> ED - Economic Development district zoning <br /> classification. The three areas under <br /> consideration are those listed in #3 .a. <br /> above. <br /> b. Z-2-93 Marilyn and Don Liner <br /> The applicants are owners of property on <br /> the west side of Efland-Cedar Grove Road <br /> north of U.S. Highway 70. They wish to <br /> have 4. 18 acres rezoned from Residential-1 <br /> and Protected Watershed-II to Residential-3 <br /> and Protected Watershed-II. <br /> 6. Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments <br /> a. Economic Development Districts <br /> Specific sections of the Zoning Ordinance <br /> proposed for change include the following: <br /> (1) Article 4. 2. 19 - District Statement of <br /> Intent/Application Criteria (Economic <br /> Development District) <br /> (2) Article 4.3 - Permitted Use Table <br /> (3) Article 5.1.2 - Establishment of <br /> Dimensional Requirements/Schedule for <br /> Non-Residential Development <br />
