.93 <br /> eieta <br /> May 23, 1993 <br /> The Board of Alderman <br /> Town Hall <br /> Carrboro, North Carolina 27510 <br /> Dear Ladies and Gentlemen: <br /> This letter concerns the request for rezoning the Hogan Lake <br /> Farm property. <br /> I was born on a farm on Homestead Road that has been in my <br /> family since the 1700's and I continue to make this my home. <br /> I am pleased to support the request for rezoning. <br /> Yes, the farm and lake are beautiful properties and I have many <br /> happy memories of playing there, learning to swim, camping, ball <br /> games, class picnics, etc. Bill and Bob have been most generous <br /> as was their Dad, Henry, their uncles, Hubert, Glenn and Jack and <br /> their grandfather, Clay. Their roots go deep! This property is <br /> their inheritance and I know that their desire is to develop it <br /> to be an attractive area. They care! Growth is here. We, in this <br /> area, are no longer country and I, for one, believe that there is <br /> too much control on land use and development.
