INTERGOVERNMENTAI <br />COORDINATION <br />Letters of invitation were sent and phone calls made to representatives of both Person County <br />and Durham County. Agendas were routinely sent to these County representatives for all <br />neighborhood and Task Force meetings. Durham County representatives have been active <br />participants in the discussions. Other Orange County departments involved in the plan <br />development include the Economic Development Commission staff and Environmental Health <br />Division of the Orange County Health Department. <br />North Carolina Department of the Environmental and Natural Resources provided data and <br />information regarding the air and mining permits. <br />43 <br />
