Chapter 3: Implementation <br />,iIxjlilementa.tionN;Plan <br />'The;Task,Force devised a system for prioritizing the recommendations put forth in the US 70 /-Cornelius <br />Street Corridor Plan. First, the group looked for category trends in the recommendation and determined <br />that each recommendation fell into on of four categories including: tasks for a community organization, <br />tasks for the Economic Development- Commission of Orange, County,, tasks to be addressed during the <br />Town of Hillsborough Zoning, Ordinance rewrite, slated to begin in 2007, and tasks for the Town Board <br />and planning staff. <br />The group then assigned the following timeframes to each recommendation:�llmmediate- up to 6 <br />months; -Short- 6 -12 months,!Medium -12 -24 months, andilLong- 24 months or longer. <br />;The following chart outlines the implementation timeframe and responsible parry for each <br />recommendation. <br />a k <br />d , � .eam otation <br />ffimmei%a me <br />4.
