Chapter 1: Plan Development <br />rf Overview <br />The planning process that was undertaken by the task force consisted of regular monthly meetings in the <br />, HillsboroughTown Bain. ;'.The public'was invited to- attend the monthly meetings, and individuals who attended <br />were included in the ongoing discussion and decision- making process. The Task: Force also held two open <br />house meetings; one at the beginning of the process. and one towards the end where a presentation was given <br />that outlined the plan elements. "Prior to both of the open house meetings notices were sent to property owners <br />and business owners along the corridor... In addition, the Task Force surveyed business owners in the corridor <br />for their - opinions about the strengths and weaknesses of commercial activity on Cornelius Street.
