Last year, the Dispute Settlement Center sought <br /> health department endorsement for a project to reduce injury from <br /> conflicts at Middle Schools using a conflict resolution skill- <br /> s roach. This program is currently being implemented at <br /> building pp <br /> Phillips Middle School. <br /> The Dispute Settlement Center and Ms. Eileen Kugler, OCHD Personal <br /> Health Services Director, have been in consultation with Mr. Alton <br /> Cheek, Phillips Principal, to expand the current program with the <br /> goal of institutionalizing a conflict resolution/mediation <br /> approach to violence reduction at Philips.is. is reanntd, in <br /> teacher training and involvement of parents <br /> to continuing to train the students. funds <br /> Maximum available funding is $15,000 per grant.
