Amend Section 3.5 - Land Use Goals and Draft Policies, Goal Six, to <br /> include the following: <br /> 6.11 The following Economic Development (Transition) Activity <br /> Nodes have been designated: I-40/01d NC 86 (HB-5) ; <br /> I-85/Buckhorn (CX-5) ; and I-85/US 70 (ENO-2) . <br /> 6.12 The following Economic Development (Rural) Activity <br /> Nodes have been designated: Morrow Mill <br /> (BH-1) ; and White Cross (BH-2) . <br /> And revise the following (wording to be deleted shown in l3trike- <br /> thro gk; new wording shown in boldface) : <br /> 6.7 The following areas in the County are identified as <br /> appropriate for industrial uses and have been designated <br /> as Commercial-Industrial Nodes: Efland Center (CK-1) ; <br /> Miles North (CK-2) ; Miles South (CK-3) ; Eno (ENO-2) ; and <br /> Harmon Young (HB-4) . <br /> 6.8 Five Four Rural Community Activity Nodes have been <br /> designated: Whitc Cross (DH 2) ; Caldwell (LR-1) ; Schley <br /> (LR-2) ; Carr (CG-1) ; and Village (CG-2) . <br /> 6.9 The following Rural Neighborhood Activity Nodes have been <br /> designated: Toler's Store (CG-3) ; Villine's Store (LR-3) ; <br /> Walnut Grove (CG-5) ; Underwood's Store (LR-3) ; Fairfield <br /> (CK-4) ; Coleman Loop (HB-1) ; Law's Store (ENO-1) ; Adam <br /> and Evc (BH 1) ; Oak Grove (BH-3) ; and Calvander (CIIT 6) <br /> and Blackwood Station (CHT-7) as part of the Orange <br /> County-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Joint Planning Area Land Use <br /> Plan. <br /> 4. Amend Section 3 .8 - Cheeks Township Plan by increasing the number <br /> of activity nodes from four to five and adding a description of the <br /> new activity node, CK-5, to read as follows: <br /> REFERENCE: CK-5 (I-85/Buckhorn) <br /> LOCATION: I-85 and I-40, Buckhorn Road (SR 1114) , and U.S. 70 <br /> PLAN CATEGORY: Economic Development (Transition) Activity Node <br />
