Districts] of this ordinance, to be considered for approval when such plans do not: 1. Meet the criteria for site plan approval listed in Article 14.3; 2 . Address agency comments solicited during the site plan review process; and/or 3. Adhere to the design criteria applicable within Economic Development Districts as set forth in Article 6.29 of this ordinance. In such cases, approval of a Planned Development application shall be governed by the general and specific standards for the issuance of a Planned Development Permit as set forth in Article 7, a Special Use Permit as set forth in Article 8, and a Zoning Compliance Permit as set forth in Articles 20. It is not the intent of this district to establish a higher set of development standards than those set forth in Article 6.29 - Development Standards for Economic Development (ED) - -- Districts but to insure that such development plans are in accord with the intent and purpose of Economic Development (ED) Districts. 6. Amend Article 22 - Definitions by adding a definition of "Economic Development Activity Node" to read as follows: Economic Development Activity Node - Land in Rural and Transition areas of the County which has been specifically targeted for economic development activity consisting of light industrial, distribution, flex space, office, and service/retail uses. Such areas are located adjacent to interstate and major arterial highways, and subject to special design criteria and performance standards.
