Districts] of this ordinance, to be considered for <br /> approval when such plans do not: <br /> 1. Meet the criteria for site plan approval <br /> listed in Article 14.3; <br /> 2 . Address agency comments solicited during the site <br /> plan review process; and/or <br /> 3. Adhere to the design criteria applicable within <br /> Economic Development Districts as set forth in <br /> Article 6.29 of this ordinance. <br /> In such cases, approval of a Planned Development <br /> application shall be governed by the general and specific <br /> standards for the issuance of a Planned Development <br /> Permit as set forth in Article 7, a Special Use Permit as <br /> set forth in Article 8, and a Zoning Compliance Permit as <br /> set forth in Articles 20. It is not the intent of this <br /> district to establish a higher set of development <br /> standards than those set forth in Article 6.29 - <br /> Development Standards for Economic Development (ED) - -- <br /> Districts but to insure that such development plans are <br /> in accord with the intent and purpose of Economic <br /> Development (ED) Districts. <br /> 6. Amend Article 22 - Definitions by adding a definition of <br /> "Economic Development Activity Node" to read as follows: <br /> Economic Development Activity Node - Land in Rural and Transition <br /> areas of the County which has been specifically targeted <br /> for economic development activity consisting of light <br /> industrial, distribution, flex space, office, and <br /> service/retail uses. Such areas are located adjacent to <br /> interstate and major arterial highways, and subject to <br /> special design criteria and performance standards. Flex, <br /> space typically includes one-story buildings designed, <br /> constructed, and marketed as suitable for use as offices <br /> but able to accomodate other uses; e.g., warehouse, <br /> showroom, manufacturing assembly or similar operations. <br /> *********************************** <br /> ORDINANCE REVIEW COMMITTEE: <br /> PLANNING BOARD REVIEW: <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REVIEW: <br />
