146 <br /> uses will be considered when determining <br /> acceptable levels of disturbance. <br /> Additional landscaping is required within each <br /> lot to enhance site features such as entrances <br /> and parking while serving to control erosion <br /> and moderate microclimate. <br /> Wherever possible, existing vegetation shall be <br /> preserved to meet the requirements of this <br /> section. New landscaping shall consist of <br /> native and/or naturalized species suitable for <br /> the climate and soil conditions of piedmont <br /> North Carolina. <br /> a. Buffers <br /> 1) A buffer -59- 100 feet wide is required <br /> at the boundary of the Economic <br /> Development District.
