Amend Section 3.8 - Cheeks Township Plan (Text and Map) <br /> by adding a new Economic Development Activity Node, <br /> I-85/Buckhorn (CK-5) . The node is located on the <br /> northeast corner of I-85/I-40 and Buckhorn Road. The node <br /> extends from I-85/I-40 to and across the Southern <br /> Railroad to U.S. Highway 70. The area within the node is <br /> approximately 214 acres. The current Land Use Element <br /> designations for the area are 10-Year Transition and <br /> Commercial-Industrial Activity Node. The proposed <br /> designations are 10-Year Transition and Economic <br /> Development Activity Node. <br /> e.
