<br /> McDevitt Street Bovis, founded in 1917, provides construction services in the areas of
<br /> healthcare, institutional, commercial and industrial building, maintaining a tradition of
<br /> excellence, based upon consistent delivery of speed, economy and quality for those
<br /> 75 years. The company is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and operates full
<br /> service offices in Atlanta, Columbia, Dallas, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh, Richmond and
<br /> Washington, D.C.
<br /> Emphasizing a team approach, the company offers project/program management
<br /> services, construction management, general construction, technical services
<br /> consulting and design/build services, tailoring these programs to meet each client's
<br /> individual needs.
<br /> These services are divided into two primary programs. Preconstruction services
<br /> include conceptual estimating, value engineering, constructibility analysis and
<br /> scheduling. Construction services include project management, contract
<br /> administration, cost control, scheduling and quality control.
<br /> McDevitt Street Bovis works with a variety of clients across the United States, many on
<br /> an ongoing basis, in the development and construction of hotels, office buildings,
<br /> shopping centers and malls, healthcare facilities, religious facilities, educational
<br /> facilities, high-rise residential buildings, industrial complexes and recreational facilities.
<br /> McDevitt Street Bovis is ranked 15th among building contractors by Building Design &
<br /> Construction, 7th among healthcare builders by Modem Healthcare and 1st among
<br /> retail builders by Shopping Center World.
<br /> Last year, the company recorded revenues of$481.0 million with its total project
<br /> involvement broken down as follows:

<br /> • 32 industrial projects totaling $54 million
<br /> • 13 major hotel projects totaling $96 million
<br /> • 13 retail projects totaling $96 million

<br /> In September, 1990, McDevitt & Street was sold to Bovis, Inc., the U.S. based
<br /> component of the world-wide Bovis Construction Group and now bears the name
<br /> McDevitt Street Bovis. The Bovis, Inc. group, which was ranked 2nd largest
<br /> construction management group in the U.S, by ENR in June, 1992, also includes
<br /> Lehrer McGovern Bovis, headquartered in New York, and Schal Associates, Inc.,
<br /> headquartered in Chicago.
