w74
: w y
Upon receiving comments from these groups, staff will then produces
a second draft of the products. Comments that have been used will
be specifically noted in the new draft. Comments that have not been
used will be summarized on an attached appendix, with an
explanation of why the comments were not included in the draft.
Staff will present this second draft to the Ordinance Review
Committee in the first quarter of 1994, where the products will
proceed through traditional public hearing and review processes.
Charge to Agencies/Groups/Municipalities Reviewing the Strategies
The Board of Commissioners offers submittal of the first draft
products for review to each of the agencies/groups/municipalities
shown on the preceding page, as well as staff assistance in
understanding the proposed products and in helping agencies through
the comment process (this assistance would be limited to procedural
advice. The agency would be responsible for the content of its
comments) .
Since this review largely involves detailed ordinance language and
design guidelines, the Board requests that each
agency/group/municipality be specific in its comments on the draft
products, proposing replacement language or graphics in areas where
the agency proposes a different approach.
Each agency/group/municipality is requested to return comments or
other specific suggested replacement language within 90 days of
receipt.
Each agency providing comment will be provided copies of the final
draft products one month prior to the public hearing.
