69 <br /> r '71" <br /> PROPOSED CHARGE TO STAFF AND REVIEW AGENCIES <br /> In accordance with the Process for Implementing the Rural Character <br /> Strategies, agreed to by the Rural Character Study Committee and <br /> the Planning Board, the following is suggested as a charge to both <br /> staff and review agencies/groups/municipalities. <br /> Charge to Planning Staff <br /> The Board of Commissioners directs Planning Department staff to <br /> prepare a draft version of all products (see timeline for list of <br /> products) needed to implement the Rural Character Strategies by the <br /> fall of 1993. These draft products will then be submitted to a list <br /> of agencies/groups for review and comment. This list includes (but <br /> is not limited to) : <br /> The Agricultural Districts Advisory Board <br /> The Historic Preservation Commission <br /> The Transportation Advisory Subcommittee <br /> (of the Orange County Planning Board) <br /> The Economic Development Commission <br /> The Township Advisory Councils (7 ) <br /> The Recreation and Parks Advisory Council (RPAC) <br /> The Design Council of Chapel Hill/Carrboro <br /> The Duke Forest Advisory Council (Duke University) <br /> The Town of Hillsborough <br /> The City of Durham <br /> The City of Mebane <br /> The Orange Water and Sewer Authority <br /> The Triangle Land Conservancy <br /> The Sierra Club (Triangle Chapter) <br /> Citizens Against Urban Sprawl (CAUS) <br /> . . .Others to be named later. <br /> Staff will offer to present the Rural Character Strategies to each <br /> group, and will also be available for assistance in clarifying the <br /> strategies and providing advice on how to submit comments. <br />
