At the end of the public comment period, the MAP Steering Committee met on January 31, 2007 <br />and approved the submission of the final MAP Report for 2007-11 with the inclusion of public <br />comment changes and the approval of an implementation tracking process. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None, at this time. Financial costs would be presented in the future when <br />the BOCC considers a specific MAP objective-strategy for adoption. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board consider the adoption of <br />the Master Aging Plan for 2007-11, which includes a Bill of Rights for Older Persons, a new <br />initiative - "Building Aging-Friendly Communities in Orange", and its goals and objectives and <br />that the Board address the implementation of specific MAP objective -strategies over the next <br />five years in the context of other County needs, commitments and priorities. <br />
