He feels a development of this size is unwarranted, unfeasible <br /> and is not likely to succeed economically. His concerns include the runoff <br /> from the golf course, the traffic and the schools. <br /> ROY W. ROTH asked that the applied zoning districts in the "Open-Space <br /> Development Area" not include R-2 as it may relate to the potential University <br /> Station development. <br /> WILLIAM B. STROM wrote in opposition of the "Open Space" designation. <br /> 'GEORGANNE SEBASTIAN AND DENNIS PFEIFFER wrote in opposition of changing the <br /> land use designation for University Station to 20 year transition or the open <br /> space category. She expressed concerns about schools and the effects a large <br /> development and golf course would have on county roads in the area. <br /> LARRY D. WALLACE wrote that he thoroughly oppose the planned University <br /> Station development. <br /> TAMMY WALLACE wrote in opposition of the University Station plan. She <br /> expressed concerns about schools, traffic and pollution. <br /> JAMES WEBSTER wrote in opposition of the proposed development on N. C. #10 and <br /> New Hope Road. <br /> SHIRLEY WEBSTER wrote in opposition to the University Station project. She <br /> expressed concerns about traffic, schools and the wildlife. <br /> PHILIP L. WITT expressed concern about the water supply for the University <br /> Station development. He outlined an alternative development plan that would <br /> minimize some of the complaints and fit in with the rural character of the <br /> area while at the same time provide Orange County businesses the opportunity <br /> to grow. <br /> ELIZABETH L. WOODMAN wrote in support of developing "clusters" . She is <br /> opposed to the University Station development because it does not offer an <br /> appropriate solution to "democratizing" the rural housing needs.
