2 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Orange County and/or other Hollow Rock project partners will be <br />required to contribute the remaining 40% of the costs to complete the survey, estimated at <br />$6,000. Durham County has offered to contribute $3,000 toward the $6,000 match. No further <br />funding for the ,Hollow Rock Master Plan effort, or subsequent construction of any facilities, has <br />been identified to date. As per an interlocal agreement, the master plan committee is projected <br />to begin work in the near future at amutually-agreeable date. The future New Hope Preserve <br />would be addressed at a later date. Staffs from the participating jurisdictions will meet soon to <br />discuss possible roles and responsibilities for the project. Based on discussions with other <br />project partners, the Manager and staff will present a recommendation for funding of the local <br />share of the survey at a later date. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board authorize the Manager to <br />accept the grant and sign the Grant Contract and related attachments. <br />
