P _ — <br /> (8) Interim assistance activities eligible under 24 CFR <br /> 570.201(f)(1), and activities eligible under 24 CFR 570.201(f)(2) , <br /> 570.432, and 571 .308 for imminent threats to health and safety, if the <br /> assisted activities do not alter environmental conditions and are for <br /> temporary or permanent improvements limited to protection, repair, or <br /> restoration actions necessary only to control or arrest the effects of <br /> imminent threats or physical deterioration. <br /> (9) Public service grants authorized under Section 105(a)(8) of <br /> Title I and eligible under 24 CFR 570.201(e) but only under the <br /> following circumstances: <br /> (i) The grant is for the continuation of previous Title I <br /> assistance to supplement eligible public services being maintained by <br /> the recipient with only minimal change by the recipient as to the level <br /> and type of services provided. <br /> (ii) The services affect only the social or economic <br /> environment. <br /> (iii) The services would not result in development of service - <br /> facilities or physical improvements regardless of source of funds. <br /> xx (10) Any of the categorical exclusions listed in Section 58.35(a) <br /> provided that there are no circumstances which require compliance with <br /> any other Federal laws and authorities cited in Section 58.5 as shown on <br /> the attached Finding of Categorical Exclusion. <br /> J <br /> v/ -/- 9 <br /> Signature of Chief Elected 0 'i 'al Date <br /> • <br /> 11 <br />
