With this change, the Library employees <br /> will become Orange County employees. It is planned <br /> that this change will occur effective March 1, 1993 . <br /> When the Library employees become Orange County <br /> employees, they will be covered by all provisions of <br /> the Orange County Personnel Ordinance, the Orange <br /> County Classification and Pay Plan, the Orange County <br /> employee benefits plan, and the related personnel/ <br /> payroll systems and procedures . <br /> Library and Orange County Personnel staff have <br /> compared Library and Orange County personnel policies <br /> and benefits to assess the impact on employees . <br /> Personnel held a general orientation session with <br /> employees following the Board of Commissioners <br /> adoption of the resolution to establish the Library as <br /> a County department. In that session Personnel <br /> reviewed the key policy and benefit changes <br /> anticipated and the planned communication and <br /> other activities to make the change to Orange <br />
