Four (4) copies of drawings showing building alterations and/or <br /> additions to existing structures or showing new construction. As used <br /> here, "drawings" will mean plans and exterior elevations drawn to <br /> scale, with sufficient detail to show, as far as they relate to exterior <br /> appearances, the architectural design of buildings; proposed building <br /> materials; site layout, including walls, walks, terraces, parking areas, <br /> plantings, accessory buildings, signs, lights, and other physical <br /> elements. <br /> 1. In the case of an application for a COA for the demolition of an <br /> existing structure, the applicant shall submit legible photographs <br /> showing all sides of the structure under consideration and photographs <br /> showing adjacent structures and the relation of the structure to the site. <br /> m. A list of the names and addresses of all property owners within a 500- <br /> foot radius of any portion of the property under consideration. <br /> n. Any other supporting statements, drawings or material that the <br /> applicant may believe will assist in communicating his or her plans for <br /> the site and structure. <br /> o. If a previous application for COA for the same property has been <br /> denied, the applicant shall specify the substantial changes made to the <br /> plans for the proposed modification or substantial changes in conditions <br /> in the district. <br /> If application is made for administrative approval of a COA pursuant to <br /> Section 11.2., an applicant shall not be required to provide the information <br /> listed in k. and m. above, with the exception of the list of building materials. <br /> 7.7. Additional Exhibits. Any exhibit to be presented to the Commission at the <br /> time it considers a case must be submitted to the Planning Department at least <br /> 24 hours prior to presentation to the Commission. <br /> SECTION 8: Consideration of COA by Historic Preservation Commission <br /> 8.1. Notification of Property Owners. The Planning Department shall mail a notice <br /> to the applicant and owners of property within 500 feet of the property under <br /> consideration using the address list provided by the applicant after the <br /> addresses have been checked against the Orange County tax listings. The <br /> notice will be mailed by certified mail at least fifteen (15) days prior to the <br /> Commission meeting at which the case is to be heard. <br /> 10 <br />
