Attachment 1 4 <br /> DRAFT REVISED ARTICLE IV, SECTION 4 .0 OF <br /> THE ORANGE COUNTY PERSONNEL ORDINANCE <br /> 4 .0 Holidays and Holiday Pay (Effective January 1, 1993 ) <br /> (New)This policy covers the observance and payment of <br /> holidays. <br /> 4 . 1 Holidays <br /> (Old 4.1 Orange County grants 11 holidays each year as <br /> Revised) follows: <br /> New Year' s Day Independence Day <br /> Martin Luther King, Labor Day <br /> Jr. ' s Birthday Thanksgiving Day <br /> Easter Holiday - Day after Thanksgiving <br /> Memorial Day V Christmas (3 days) <br /> 4 .2 Holiday Schedule <br /> (Old 4.3) The holiday schedule is issued on a calendar year <br /> basis to each department head. Department heads <br /> post and advise employees of the holiday schedule. <br /> 4 .3 Holiday Pay <br /> (Old 4.1 4 .3. 1 The County provides Holiday Pay for <br /> Revised) Permanent employees, both Full Time and <br /> Part Time (regularly scheduled at least 20 . <br /> hours each workweek) .
