The Town of Chapel Hill sent staff and equipment, and Orange <br /> County Emergency Management coordinated the organization of relief help <br /> in the area. <br /> Governor Martin has signed a certificate of appreciation to Orange <br /> County for its assistance with the response to Hurricane Andrew. A <br /> representative of the State Office of Emergency Management will attend <br /> to present the certificate to the County on behalf of the Governor. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : The Manager recommends that the Board accept the <br /> certificate of appreciation. <br />
