PURPOSE <br /> 1.1. To promote active searching for and solicitation of grants and other targeted donations by all <br /> members of SORS while ensuring coordinated and non-redundant applications. <br /> 2. OSHA REQUIRMENTS <br /> 2.1. N/A <br /> 3. CERTIFICATION LEVELS <br /> 3.1. All <br /> 4. POLICIES <br /> 4.1. SORS encourages its members to identify possible sources for grants and targeted gifts for <br /> purposes consistent with SORS's mission. <br /> 4.2. SORS recognizes that successful grant applications must be coordinated and non-redundant. <br /> 4.3. All reporting requirements shall be met in a timely manner. <br /> 5. PROCEDURES <br /> 5.1. All SORS members should become aware of and search out potential sources of grants and <br /> targeted gifts. These might include: <br /> 5.1.1. Past sources of grants(Strowd Roses,Johnson Foundation,etc.). <br /> 5.1.2. Churches. <br /> 5.1.3. Benevolent Organizations. <br /> 5.1.4. Governmental and Business groups. <br /> 5.1.5. Potential Users of SORS services. <br /> 5.2. When a potential grant or targeted gift donor is identified, information should also be collected. <br /> The information should include,but is not limited to: <br /> 5.2.1. Name of organization and organizational contact information. <br /> 5.2.2. Amount of potential gift or grant. <br /> 5.2.3. Type of grant(e.g.free use,restricted to specific items,to be used on items we propose, <br /> or matching funds,etc.) <br /> 5.2.4. Application forms. <br /> 5.2.5. Application schedule. <br /> 5.2.6. Granting schedule. <br /> 5.2.7. Reporting requirements initially and after the funds are used. <br /> 5.3.
