The Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness request to appropriate available <br /> fund balance from the Community Development Fund in the amount of $5,181 to <br /> increase student intern hours. This will support Point-in-Time count, homeless services <br /> system mapping, and coordinated entry projects. <br /> This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds. (See <br /> Attachment 1, column 3) <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goals are <br /> applicable to this agenda item: <br /> • GOAL: CREATE A SAFE COMMUNITY <br /> The reduction of risks from vehicle/traffic accidents, childhood and senior injuries, <br /> gang activity, substance abuse and domestic violence. <br /> • GOAL: FOSTER A COMMUNITY CULTURE THAT REJECTS OPPRESSION AND <br /> INEQUITY <br /> The fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race or <br /> color; religious or philosophical beliefs; sex, gender or sexual orientation; national <br /> origin or ethnic background; age; military service; disability; and familial, residential <br /> or economic status. <br /> Animal Services Department <br /> 4. The Animal Services Department has received the following additional revenues: <br /> • Community Giving Fund — an additional $1,459 from the Community Giving <br /> Fund to cover the cost of an outdoor picnic table, a pet waste disposal container, <br /> and mounting poles for Kay Park. <br /> This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds.
