SECTION Occupational Safety& Health <br /> STANDARD <br /> OPERATING S.O.G. No: <br /> 402.03 <br /> GUIDELINES <br /> SUBJECT SABA Training <br /> I. PURPOSE. <br /> This standard applies to all members who are required to use supplied air <br /> breathing apparatus (SABA) as part of their normal duties. It was <br /> promulgated to: <br /> A. Maintain occupational proficiency in the use of SABA. <br /> B. Prevent accidents, injuries, and deaths that might result from exposure to <br /> a hazardous atmosphere. <br /> II. REFERENCES. <br /> A. Current edition of the National Fire Protection Association's 1500, <br /> "Standard on Fire Department Occupational Safety and Health Program". <br /> B. OSHA REQUIREMENTS. <br /> A.
