No 603.01 <br /> GUIDELINES <br /> SUBJECT Rope Rescue <br /> 1 SCOPE. <br /> This guideline applies to Orange EMS and Rescue Squad, Inc. personnel <br /> that respond to rope rescues within the operational area. <br /> 2 PURPOSE. <br /> To expedite the response to an incident requiring rope rescue skills and <br /> equipment to perform the rescue with minimum risk to the rescuers and the <br /> subject. This may be a high-angle or low-angle rescue, roadside or <br /> wilderness. <br /> 3 REFERENCES. <br /> A. Rope rescue techniques require proper training, specialized <br /> equipment and techniques, and the ability to work as a team. The Technical <br /> Rescue Team is a Division of Orange EMS and Rescue Squad, Inc. that <br /> trains regularly and is equipped to provide state-of-the-art response to rope <br /> rescue incidents. <br /> Page 1 of 10 <br />
