COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT <br /> Mount Tabor/Vienna Volunteer Fire Department, Pfafftown, North Carolina <br /> Fire Fighter—1984 to 1987 <br /> North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician—1986 to Present <br /> Captain—1987 to 2013 <br /> Corporation Member—2005 to 2009 <br /> Served the Mount Tabor and Vienna communities in a leadership role since the mid 1980's. Trained dozens of <br /> young men and women the essentials of fire suppression and rescue technologies. Instrumental in executing the <br /> merger of the two fire departments into one due to annexation activities of the City of Winston-Salem. <br /> Northwest Forsyth Little League, Pfafftown, North Carolina <br /> Manager/Coach—2001 to 2016 <br /> Board of Directors (Safety Director&Vice President of Softball)—2005 to 2010 <br /> Actively involved with teaching children the skills of softball at a tactical level. Program is in a steady growth <br /> pattern and has realized a 75% increase in participation since accepting this responsibility.
