4. Employees must not use the system in a way that disrupts its use by others. Employees <br /> must not send or receive large files that could be saved/transferred via thumb drives. <br /> Employees are prohibited from sending or receiving files that are not related to work. <br /> 5. Employees should not open suspicious e-mails, pop-ups or downloads. Contact IT with <br /> any questions or concerns to reduce the release of viruses or to contain viruses <br /> immediately. <br /> 6. Internal and external e-mails are considered business records and may be subject to <br /> discovery in the event of litigation. Be aware of this possibility when sending e-mail <br /> within and outside the company. <br /> Right to Monitor <br /> All company-supplied technology and company-related work records belong to the company and <br /> not to the employee. NSMT routinely monitors use of company-supplied technology. <br /> Inappropriate or illegal use or communications may be subject to disciplinary action up to and <br /> including termination of employment. <br /> 1. Company computers and e-mail system are company property. <br /> 2. All employees are expected to use good judgment in using electronic mail and to avoid <br /> indiscretions such as offensive or inappropriate messages or any other message, the <br /> company deems inappropriate. <br /> 3. E-mail messages should be used for business and not for soliciting outside business <br /> ventures or other matters unrelated to the company's affairs. <br /> 4. North State Medical <br /> Transport views social networks such as web based discussion or conversation pages and other <br /> foiins of social networking such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. as significant new forms of public <br /> communication. As such, we hold all of our employees who engage in social networking to the <br /> same standards we hold for any public communications. Therefore, all employees have an <br /> obligation to North State Medical Transport to ensure any public communication they make, <br /> including social networking communications, must not negatively impact the reputation of the <br /> company or disrepute in any way to the company, its management, employees, patients,referring <br /> providers, suppliers, etc. Further, only management members are authorized to publicly speak on <br /> 68 <br />
