Job Title: General Manager <br /> Class: Supervisor <br /> Department: Marketing <br /> FLSA Status: Exempt <br /> Revised: April-2014 <br /> Pay range: Salaried <br /> Job Summary <br /> Manages multiple departments and functions, including scheduling, dispatching, and supervising <br /> employee performance. <br /> ESSIENTIAL JOB FUNTIONS: <br /> (Any one position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all <br /> tasks which may be found in positions of this class.) <br /> 1. Performs duties noinially associated with supervisory position, such as training, <br /> evaluating, and disciplinary counseling of all on-site employees,under the direction of <br /> the Director of Operations. <br /> 2. Participates in general staff meetings on regular basis. <br /> 3. Attends management meetings when scheduled. <br /> 4. Provides additional training as necessary. <br /> 5. Maintains open and clear communication with the general staff and Director of <br /> Operations. <br /> 6. Develops an integral team of dispatchers that effectively portrays the quality and <br /> professionalism of the Company. <br /> 7. Represents the company in a professional manner at all times. <br /> 8. Ensures completion of various daily, weekly and monthly reports in a timely and accurate <br /> manner. <br /> 9. Reviews reports and makes operating recommendations to Director of Operations. <br /> 10. Reviews time cards for payroll and payroll-related forms; discusses exceptions and <br /> unusual circumstances with Property Manager and approves/disapproves as appropriate. <br /> 11. Assists on-site employees as needed. <br /> 12. Supports overall marketing efforts and offers input and suggestions. <br /> 13. Oversees, develops and participates in various company programs to ensure their success. <br /> 14. Prepares and follows guidelines of company operating budget, and makes <br /> recommendations to maximize income and minimize expenses. <br /> 15. Offers recommendations for company capital improvements or repairs,the development <br /> of job specifications, bid acquisitions, contract developments and negotiations, etc. <br /> 16. Oversees use of proper supervision methods by department supervisors and those <br /> personnel issues are carried out in accordance with established company policies and <br /> procedures. <br /> 17. Solicits and reacts accordingly to positive and negative resident feedback. <br /> 18. Attends and participates in training seminars as requested. <br /> 19.
