Job Title: Technician Supervisor <br /> Class: Supervisor <br /> Department: Operation <br /> Revised: April-2014 <br /> FLSA: Non-exempt <br /> Pay Range: $14.50.00 to $25.00 <br /> [This job description supersedes any prior description for the Technician Supervisor <br /> classification.) <br /> GENERAL DESCRIPTION, <br /> Work involves transporting patients to and from doctor's offices, residences, nursing facilities, <br /> hospitals and various other medical facilities. Assess the medical needs of the sick or injured and <br /> provide medical care for those in need of help. Perform appropriate level life support work in the <br /> emergency medical setting. Work involves responding to the ALS Level Transports, emergency <br /> and non-emergency transports, applying necessary medical treatment to sick or injured patients <br /> as long as it's within the scope of their training <br /> Work in cooperation with managers in supervising and conducting day to day operations. <br /> Considerable tact, courtesy, and firmness are required with frequent contact with the general <br /> public, other health care professionals and vendors. Work is performed under supervision of <br /> company managers <br /> ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS <br /> (Any one position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all <br /> tasks which may be found in positions of this class.) <br /> 1. Maintain OEMS and CPR required certifications. See policy H-11 through H-17 for <br /> credentialing requirements. <br /> 2. Maintain NCDL. See policy H-11 through H-17 for credentialing requirements. <br /> 3. Maintain eligibility to participate in all Federal and State healthcare programs. <br /> 4. Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls as other crew members; administers <br /> necessary medical care. <br /> 5. Assists with arranging coverage for shift employee leave requests. <br /> 6. Enforces departmental policies and procedures. Trains new employees; answers questions <br /> and solves operational problems for other crews. <br /> 7. Assists administration with equipment inventory, record keeping, vehicle maintenance, field <br /> audits, unifoluus, and special projects. <br /> 8. Serves as an extension of administration in evaluating employee performance to be used in <br /> performance improvement and annual evaluation recommendations <br /> 9. Assumes shift responsibilities in the absence of management. <br /> 10. Performs additional certification specific job functions outlined in EMT and EMT Paramedic <br /> job descriptions. <br /> 11.
