These policies and procedures outline numerous aspects of initiating and maintaining <br /> employment with North State Medical Transport. <br /> H-2-Continuity of Policies -Right to Change or Discontinue <br /> 1. The policies and procedures in this document are not intended to be contractual <br /> commitments by North State Medical Transport and employees shall not construe them <br /> as such. <br /> 2. Policies and Procedures are intended to be guides to management and merely descriptive <br /> of suggested procedures to be followed. <br /> 3. North State Medical Transport reserves the right to revoke, change, or supplement these <br /> guidelines at any time without notice. <br /> 4. Such changes shall be effective immediately upon approval by management unless <br /> otherwise stated. <br /> 5. No policy is intended as a guarantee of continuity of benefits or rights. <br /> 6. No permanent employment or employment for any term is intended or can be implied by <br /> statements in this manual. <br /> H-3-Confidentiality of Policies <br /> 1. The Policies and the information contained within should be treated as confidential. <br /> 2. No portion of this handbook should be disclosed to others, except North State Medical <br /> Transport employees and others affiliated with North State Medical Transport whose <br /> knowledge of the information is required in the normal course of business. <br /> H-4-Employment Openings <br /> 1. When a vacancy occurs, notification may occur through multiple avenues outlined in this <br /> document. <br /> 2. Positions will be posted by North State Medical Transport Human Resources <br /> Department. <br /> 3. Additional advertising may be accomplished at the direction and authorization of the <br /> Human Resources Department. <br /> 4. The human resources director shall publicize all established vacant positions. Such <br /> announcements must be directed toward all potential sources of applicants, including <br /> minorities, women, and the disabled. <br /> 5. Announcements used in recruitment must, at a minimum, include the title of the position, <br /> minimum salary,minimum qualifications, and an equal employment opportunity <br /> statement. <br /> 6. No employee shall post position openings without the approval of the North State <br /> Medical Transport human resources director. This includes postings to interne sites, <br /> 7 <br />
