E/F-1-NSMT Stations <br /> North State Medical Transport stations will be kept clean and ready for public review at all times <br /> Completing daily station maintenance will be a second priority to ensuring the response <br /> readiness of the ambulance. <br /> Daily station duties shall include: <br /> 1. Sweeping and mopping all interior hard surfaced floors. <br /> 2. Sweeping out apparatus bays and cleaning up any fluid spills. <br /> 3. Vacuuming all carpeted floors. <br /> 4. Cleaning all bathroom facilities. <br /> 5. Removing all trash and replacing liners. <br /> 6. Wiping down all kitchen surfaces and dusting all other surfaces. <br /> 7. Straightening out all workstations, including forms, books, etc. <br /> 8. Washing and storing all dishes. <br /> 9. Smokers will empty ash containers and pick up any cigarette butts at the end of every <br /> shift and dispose of refuse in outside trash containers. <br /> Weekly station duties shall include: <br /> 1. Mopping out apparatus. <br /> 2. Cleaning of refrigerator and other appliances. <br /> 3. Thorough vacuuming behind and under furniture and beds. <br /> 4. Picking up debris in the outside areas of the station, including cigarette butts. <br /> 5. Weekly duties should be coordinated by the shift personnel assigned at each location. <br /> 6. Facility maintenance will be coordinated through a supervisor or North State <br /> management. <br /> 7. Requests for repairs at the stations, both during and after regular hours, should be <br /> coordinated through the management supervisor. ' <br /> Station regulations for maintaining order: <br /> 1. No weapons are permitted in North State Medical Transport facilities and vehicles except <br /> for firearms carried by sworn law enforcement officers acting in an official capacity. This <br /> includes all handguns,rifles, shotguns, bows,knives,pepper spray, mace, or other <br /> devices that are intended for use as a weapon. <br /> 2. No alcoholic beverages are permitted in North State Medical Transport facilities. <br /> 3. No medications, other than those properly prescribed to an employee or that are available <br /> over-the-counter, shall be in possession of employees on North.
