oloqa <br /> A meeting of the Board of Commissioners for Orange County, North <br /> Carolina, was held at Hillsborough, North Carolina, the regular place of meeting <br /> at 7:30 o'clock p.m., on May 18, 1982. <br /> Present: Commissioners Whitted, Gustaveson, MarshalL Walker <br /> and Willhoit. <br /> Absent: None <br /> ************************************************************************** <br /> The following resolution was read to the Board: <br /> FINAL ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION FOR THE FINANCING BY <br /> ORANGE COUNTY OF THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COST OF <br /> PAVING OAK HILL ROAD (S.R. 1835), LOCATED IN CHAPEL HILL <br /> TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange County has <br /> elected to finance the local share of the cost of paving Oak Hill Road (S.R. <br /> 1835), located in Chapel Hill Township, Orange County, as permitted by North <br /> Carolina General Statute Section 153A-185(4) and as provided for in North <br /> Carolina General Statute Section 153A-205. <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT: <br /> I. Orange County shall undertake financing of the local share of <br /> paving Oak Hill Road (S.R. 1835), in Chapel Hill Township, Orange County, North <br /> Carolina. <br /> 2. That the basis for assessment for the local share of the costs of <br /> this project shall be frontage abutting the road at an equal rate per foot of <br /> frontage. <br /> 3. Orange County will assess the total local share according to the <br /> basis set out in number 2 above which local share represents approximately <br /> Thirty Nine percent (39%) of the total project cost. <br />
